This French Citroën 2CV6 Charlestone from May 1981 has 43,900 km. The seller states that the car is in very good general condition and that it benefited from a complete restoration a year and a half ago.
Externally, the car is in very good condition. The bodywork was redone during the restoration and is in very good condition, but the paintwork has some minor defects (see gallery). There is a dent at the end of the bonnet. The exterior plastics and seals are in very good condition, as are the headlights. The soft top is new. The seller indicates that the lower right front window frame needs to be replaced and that the grey edging around the side windows still needs to be fitted. He says that this 2CV is free of corrosion, the chassis is new and comes from the Mehari Club (Citroën certificate of conformity, under warranty). He also states that the exterior of the car is completely original.
The interior is in very good condition and entirely original. The upholstery is new, as is the steering wheel and the upper part of the dashboard. The rubber floor mats and soundproofing are new. The upholstery has been redone. The on-board instrumentation and electrical equipment operate normally. The speedometer needs replacing and the heating mechanism needs adjusting.
The 602cc twin-cylinder developed 29bhp when it left the factory. The seller states that the mechanical parts work normally, as does the manual gearbox. The engine and gearbox have been completely reconditioned. The seller has installed an electronic ignition. The carburettors, clutch and transmission are all new. The seller recommends a carburettor adjustment.
The car has 4 wheels in very good condition fitted with new tyres (Michelin X). The car brakes normally. The running gear has been restored. The steering knuckle, pivot, brakes, brake lines, wheel bearings and suspension are new.
The seller is a private individual located in France at La Bâtie Vieille (05000) and accepts visits during the sale. The car will be sold with its French registration document (carte grise normale) and the seller undertakes to provide a favourable CT less than 6 months old for the sale.

How auctions work
A bank card is required to bid and a bank imprint is made for a guarantee amount of between €300 minimum and €1000 maximum depending on the amount bid (see conditions). Some bank cards will ask you to authorise payment before you can bid.
The bids immediately rise to the amount entered.
At the end of the sale, the highest bid is automatically validated by the seller if it exceeds his reserve price. However, the highest bid will not be validated, all offers remain valid for 2 working days after the end of the sale and may be accepted at any time during this period.

Payment
At the end of the auction: The winner is automatically charged a service fee of 3% (3.6% inc. VAT) of the final price by credit card (minimum €180 inc. VAT).
Within 7 days : The winner must pay the purchase price by bank transfer. Payment is secured by the third-party service Paycar.fr.
Delivery
Unless otherwise stated, the buyer is obliged to collect the vehicle from the seller. Benzin is able to offer an optional delivery service, nous contacter (specify the vehicle you are interested in and your location).

You are entitled to cancel the transaction and Benzin agrees to refund part of the service charge if the vehicle has a major fault that was not reported in the advertisement on receipt under the No Surprise Guarantee. See Conditions.
