This 2CV 6 from 1974 is a replica of the "Chic" project not commercialized by Serge Gevin, father of the most famous 2CV special series. The current owner acquired it 4 years ago before undertaking its restoration which will take 2 years. The car has 62.000km, a mileage that the seller estimates to be fair.
On the outside, this 2CV is in excellent condition. The car is painted in Gris Nocturene except for the four fenders, the five wheels and the air vent which are in Blanc Meije. The body and the chassis show no trace of corrosion, floors and rocker panels having been replaced. The body joints have been replaced with new ones. The hood is new and shows no defects. The headlights are in excellent condition. The seller indicates that the wheel flaps will be installed for the sale and that the right windshield wiper will be replaced.
The interior is in excellent condition. The seat covers are new. The interior plastics and trim are in very good condition, with no cracks or discoloration. The on-board instrumentation is said to work normally. The windshield washer system has been replaced and is functional.
The mechanics are in excellent condition. The 602cc twin-cylinder engine developed 29hp when it left the factory. The engine gaskets have all been replaced and the fluids drained. The spark plugs are new as well as the fan and the alternator. The engine is said to run perfectly, although it needs a carburetor adjustment from time to time. There are no leaks to report. The 4 speed manual transmission also works normally.
The car has its 5 original rims with new tires. The brakes have been refurbished with new discs and pads. The car runs and brakes perfectly without any abnormal noise.
The car has a normal registration in the name of the seller and a technical control will be passed for the sale. The seller is a private individual located in France in Aurec-sur-Loire (43110) and accepts visits during the sale.
The seller wished to define a reserve price.

Visits of the vehicle

Payment
At the end of the auction: The winner is automatically charged a service fee of 3% of the final price (minimum 150€ VAT included).
Within 15 days: The winner must pay the sales price to the seller. The secure payment by Paycar is free for Benzin buyers. Seller and buyer may agree to use another payment method.
Delivery
