Presentation
This 1987 Mercedes-Benz 240D W123 is a second hand car of French origin. Having belonged to a dignitary of the French consulate in Spain, this car has lived a very long time in the sun. The odometer shows 214,625 km, a mileage that the seller estimates to be correct and that seems to agree with the Mercedes maintenance booklet stamped up to 150,000 km.

On the outside, this W123 is in excellent condition. The original "Sahara Yellow" paint is very nice and shows only minor defects like a rubbing on the left rear fender. There is no rust to report except for two spots on the windshield corners and one on the rear fender bottom. The floors, fenders, trunk bottom, battery tray and wheel arches are in perfect condition. Pictures of the underbody are available in the gallery.

The interior also presents superbly. The seats are in very good condition with no tears or holes. The center console as well as the dashboard are impeccable. The knob and the steering wheel are in good condition. The car is equipped with power steering. The equipment and instrumentation on board are said to work perfectly. This sedan is equipped with air conditioning although it needs to be recharged.

The mechanics of this 240D is said to be in excellent condition. The 2.4l inline 4-cylinder block developed 72hp when it left the factory. The engine starts very well, has a stable idle and revs well without making any abnormal noise. The manual transmission works perfectly. The seller indicates however that the exhaust system has a leak.

The 4 original rims are in good condition. 6 hubcaps are sold, 2 white and 2 yellow in good condition fitted on the car and 2 yellow to be taken back (see pictures). The steering does not show any abnormal play and the road handling is described as excellent.

The car is sold with a valid technical control. The seller is a professional located in France in Bondy (93) and accepts visits during the sale.
The seller wished to define a reserve price.
