This 1965 Mercedes 230SL "Pagoda" W113 of Swedish origin has 38,000 km (5 digit counter). The seller indicates that the car is in very good general condition and that it has benefited from a full restoration 15 years ago. This vehicle was imported in 2019 in France.

On the outside, the car is in very good condition. The bodywork has been repainted in a burgundy color during the restoration, it doesn't show any noticeable defects (see gallery). The exterior plastics and gaskets are in good condition, as well as the headlights. The driver door hinge and doorstop will be changed. The driver door will be repainted for sale. The hard top and windscreen are provided for sale. The seller states that this Pagoda is free of corrosion.
The interior is in good condition and original. The tan leather upholstery is in good overall condition but shows visible flaws in the gallery. The steering wheel and the dashboard are in good condition. The on-board instrumentation and the electrical equipment are working normally.
The original engine (6 cylinders 2.3 liters, crankshaft 3 bearings) has been replaced by a 6 cylinders 2.5 liters (crankshaft 5 bearings) for reliability reasons. The seller indicates that the mechanics work normally as well as the manual gearbox. The seller reports a slight noise in 3rd gear. It is equipped with a stainless steel line. The engine has been rebuilt during the restoration. Recently, it has benefited from the following expenses:

The car has its 4 original rims in very good condition with tires in good condition. The car brakes normally. It has benefited from the following expenses on the running gear:
-Changing wheel bearings AVD ARG ARD

The seller is a private individual located in France in Saint-Médard-en-jalles (33160) and accepts visits during the sale. The car will be sold with its French registration (normal) and the seller agrees to provide a favorable technical control of less than 6 months.

Payment
At the end of the auction: The winner is automatically charged a service fee of 3% (3.6% VAT excluded) of the final price by credit card (minimum 180€ VAT included).
Within 7 days: Winner must pay the sale price by bank transfer to an escrow account.
Delivery
Unless otherwise specified, the buyer is responsible for picking up the vehicle from the seller. Benzin is able to offer you an optional delivery service.
