Presentation
This 1992 Mercedes 220 CE C124 is of German origin and has 307.000km. The seller acquired it last year at 304,500km, and indicates that the odometer is stuck at 307,000km. The car would have less than 340.000km and a replacement speedometer is provided, as well as the German maintenance booklet.
Outside, this 220 CE is in good condition. The original paint is in good condition, although it shows several defects. The main ones are the faded roof and surface corrosion on the trunk rail, the underbody and the fenders. The headlights, plastics and exterior seals are in excellent condition.
The interior is in good condition. The upholstery is in average condition, showing a tear on the driver's seat, while the rest is in good condition. The door panels, controls, and dashboard with trim are in good condition, with no noticeable wear. The car is equipped with air conditioning (recharged in July 2019), heated seats and sunroof. All of these features are said to function normally.
The mechanics are said to be in very good condition. The 2.2l 4 cylinder engine developed 150hp when it left the factory. The seller indicates that the oil and filters have been changed recently. The manual transmission is working normally: the clutch was replaced in June. The seller indicates that the previous owner had the exhaust decatalyzed, and that it was modified to avoid resonance noises. The car has been equipped with a "sport" type air filter.
The car has 4 original rims with new tires at the rear while the fronts are at 80% wear. The 4 shocks were changed last year by the previous owner. The front and rear brake pads are new, while the discs were replaced by the previous owner a year ago.
The seller is a private individual located in France in Limay (78520) and accepts visits during the sale. The car is sold with a valid technical control performed on 20/11/2019, several accessories from the W124 club and a pair of W124 phase 2 taillights.

How the auctions work
A credit card is required to bid, although nothing is charged at the time. Bids are immediately raised to the amount entered.

Payment
At the end of the auction: The winner is automatically charged a service fee of 3% of the final price (minimum €179 incl. VAT) by credit card.
Within 10 days: The winner must pay the sales price by bank transfer. The payment is secured by our partner Paycar.
Delivery
