This 1991 Peugeot 205 GTI Griffe is one of the 1652 examples sold by Peugeot. This limited series of the 205 GTI is distinguished by its fluorite green color, its hurricane grey leather interior with green stitching and its various standard equipment such as power steering. This car is a catalyzed version with the number 1064 and has 237,800 km, a mileage justified by its up-to-date Peugeot service book and numerous maintenance invoices.
Externally, this Claw is in good condition. The original paintwork shows well, although showing some flaws like varnish chips and scratches (see gallery). Only the left front fender and the hood seem to have been repainted in the past. The car is equipped with a 205 Automatic hood with its characteristic bulge. The seller provides a classic original hood to be repainted. The exterior plastics are in very good condition, showing no discoloration or scratches. All the original exterior accessories like badges and specific mouldings are present.
The interior of this GTI is in fair condition. The original leather upholstery of the front seats is in bad condition, showing deep cracks and tears. The rear seat is in very good condition. The interior plastics are in excellent condition, showing no discoloration, deformations or scratches. Only the lever knob shows some chips. The original carpets are also in good condition. The on-board instrumentation and equipment are said to function normally.
The mechanics are in excellent condition. The 4 cylinder 1.9 catalyzed engine developed 122hp when it left the factory. The timing was done in 2016 at 216,000 km (invoice) and many, many buffers and invoices show regular maintenance. A new alternator and battery were installed in 2017 and the catalyst is new. All fluids were recently replaced, as were the filters. The engine is sealed. The seller states that the engine starts well both hot and cold and seems to have full power. The 5 speed manual transmission is said to work perfectly with a clutch showing no signs of fatigue.
The car has its 4 original rims in good condition and shod with recent tires (2016) in good condition too. The running gear has had regular monitoring and a recent full service and shows no play. Discs and pads in the front and rear were replaced in 2017.
The seller is a professional located in France in Montélimar (26) and accepts visits during the sale. The car is sold with a valid blank CT.

Payment
At the end of the auction: The winner is automatically charged a service fee of 3% of the final price (minimum 150€ VAT included).

Delivery
