This Peugeot 205 GTI 1.9 Monte Carlo from 1992 has 183.000 verifiable kilometers by the Swedish inspection report. This Monte Carlo edition is limited to 100 units, and is distinguished by its finish and specific equipment such as the sorento green color with matching quartet interior and the presence of many options.
On the outside the paint in its original sorento green color looks good but has some visible flaws in the gallery. The bodywork is in good condition although it has some dents. The exterior plastics are in good condition, as well as the headlights. The seller indicates that the door bottoms show some corrosion (see gallery). All the distinctive elements of this Monte Carlo finish are present: the green rear moldings, the green GTI logo, and the side inscriptions.
The black and quartet green cloth and leatherette interior exclusive to this 205 Monte Carlo is in excellent condition. Only the driver's seat shows some wear like cracks. The door panels and the dashboard are in very good condition. The steering wheel and the specific Luisi wood knob are in good condition. This GTI is equipped with heated seats, sunroof and remote central locking. It has original rubber floor mats. The on-board instrumentation and equipment are said to work normally.
The mechanics are in good condition. The 4 cylinders 1.9 catalyzed developed 122 hp when it left the factory. The seller indicates that he has done a standard service (oil change, filters, spark plugs), and replaced the 4 brake pads and discs. The seller indicates that the radiator is recent (about 2 years old), and that the rear axle has been serviced. The 5 speed manual gearbox works normally.
