This Peugeot 205 GTI 1.9 130 from 1989 is of French origin and shows 165.600km, a mileage justified over the last 10 years by several invoices. The seller indicates that the car has not been driven much in the last years. The car has a favorable technical control less than 6 months old (August 2019).
On the outside, this 205 GTI is in excellent condition. The paint, which was redone in the past in its original Graphite Grey color, looks very good and shows no noticeable flaws. The bodywork shows no dents, and there is no perforating corrosion to report. The seller indicates that some surface corrosion is visible on the trunk floor due to a windshield washer fluid leak. The seals and exterior plastics are new, as are the front lights (headlights and long-range lights).
The interior is in very good condition. The original quartet fabric and simili upholstery is in good condition except for the driver's seat showing a tear in the fabric and sagging of the foams. Replacement foams are provided with the car. The interior plastics are in very good condition, showing no cracks or deformations. The instrumentation and interior equipment are said to function normally.
The mechanics are said to be in very good condition. The 4 cylinder 1.9 developed 130hp when it left the factory. The engine has benefited from a major overhaul in 2013 including timing, valve clearance adjustment, fluid flush as well as various adjustments (detail visible in the gallery). Recently, an engine oil change, coolant flush and battery replacement were performed. The 5 speed gearbox is said to work perfectly. The seller indicates that the exhaust has a leak and provides a stainless steel group N line.
The car has its 4 original aluminum rims in good condition, without deformation but showing paint defects, shod with Bridgestone tires in very good condition (changed in 2013). The 4 shocks were replaced by Bilstein shocks in 2011. The rear axle was refurbished in 2013 (invoice). The discs and pads are new on all 4 wheels, and the rear calipers have been replaced. The car is said to run and brake perfectly without making any abnormal noise.
The seller is a private individual located in France in Landivisiau (29400) and accepts visits during the sale.

How the auctions work
A credit card is required to bid, although nothing is charged at the time. Bids are immediately raised to the amount entered.
The highest bid is automatically selected. However, in case the reserve price is not reached, the seller has 48 hours to select a bid among the bidders.
Bidding is binding. We do not accept any withdrawal of bidding. Any withdrawal is sanctioned by a fee of 6% of the amount bid with a minimum of 300€ TTC.

Payment
At the end of the auction: The winner is automatically charged a service fee of 3% of the final price (minimum €179 incl. VAT) by credit card.
Within 10 days: The winner must pay the sales price by bank transfer. The payment is secured by our partner Paycar.
Delivery
Unless otherwise specified, the buyer is responsible for picking up the vehicle from the seller. Benzin is able to offer an optional delivery service, nous contacter (specify the vehicle you are interested in and your location).
