This 1985 Peugeot 205 GTI from France has 179.000 km and has been owned by the same person for 10 years. It is basically a 205 GTI 1.6 entirely transformed into a 1.9 by a professional. The seller indicates that the invoices for the modifications and maintenance are available.
On the outside the car is in very good condition. The paint in its grey color has only a few defects visible in the gallery. The exterior plastics and seals are in good condition, as are the front and rear lights. The seller indicates that this Peugeot is free of rust (see pictures) and that the car is entirely original on the outside except for the exhaust silencer.
The interior is in good condition and original. The black and red cloth and leather upholstery is in good condition even if the driver's seat shows some wear and tear and a hole. The steering wheel and the dashboard are well preserved and show only rare defects. The on-board instrumentation as well as the electrical equipment work normally, except for the air conditioning which needs to be repaired or recharged. The seller indicates that the dashboard is slightly cracked (see pictures). He adds that this 205 is originally equipped with a sunroof, power steering and electric windows.
The 1.9-liter 4-cylinder developed 130 hp when it left the factory. The seller says that the engine works perfectly as well as the 5-speed manual transmission. He adds that this is not the original engine. The 1.6 liters has been replaced by a 1.9 liters. He also specifies that the car has benefited from numerous recent maintenance operations available on invoices (see photos). For example, the timing belt, the accessory belt and the water pump were replaced 1000 km ago, an oil change was performed, all filters were replaced, a new clutch and new cardan shafts were installed. On the ground side, this GTI has also front and rear 1.9 liters axles in good condition. Shock absorbers, connecting rods, brake pads and discs have also been recently changed.
The car has its 4 rims in very good condition with half-worn tires. The braking is said to work normally.
The seller is a private individual located in France in Trèbes (11) and accepts visits during the sale.

How the auctions work

Payment

Delivery
