This 1989 Peugeot 205 GTI 1.6 115 from France is a 3rd hand car with 515.000 km and a complete history. The seller indicates that the car is in excellent general condition, that it has a valid Technical Inspection and that it has been fully restored. The seller specifies that the first owner of this 205 GTI kept it for 20 years and drove it 475.000 km. The 2nd owner, a garage owner, kept it for 3 years and drove it about 3.000 km. The current owner then acquired it in 2012 and undertook a full restoration in 2016.
On the outside the car is in excellent condition. In 2016, the body was completely stripped and sent to body shop to receive a snag rectification and paint in its original shade (see gallery). The exterior plastics and seals are in very good condition, as are the front and rear lights and windshield replaced in 2016. The seller indicates that this Peugeot is rust free and has never been in an accident. He also states that the car is completely original on the outside. New logos and quarter panels have been installed.
The interior is in excellent condition. The "monaco" fabric upholstery has no tears or holes. The front seats have received new seat and side foams. The steering wheel and dashboard are in very good condition and show no visible patina. The seller indicates that the only defect is a hole in the gear lever bellows (see gallery). The on-board instrumentation and electrical equipment are functioning normally.
The 1.6-liter 4-cylinder developed 115 hp when it left the factory. The seller indicates that the mechanics work perfectly as well as the 5-speed manual transmission. The seller indicates that the engine has been changed at 245.000km in standard exchange. This 205 GTI has benefited from a regular follow-up and maintenance justifiable by UTAC reports and by the complete history of the vehicle (invoices, technical controls, engine and gearbox standard exchange certificate at 245.000km or the order form of the car in 1989).
More recently, the vendor states that the following parts have been replaced or renovated:

- Spy seals gearbox
- Oil and cooling hoses
- Igniter, advance set to strobo lamp
- New flow meter
- Injectors cleaned and checked
- Injector seal kit
- New fuel pressure regulator
- New fuel pump
- New coil and ignition module
- 4 NGK candles
- Air box and cradle sandblasted then painted with epoxy paint
- Timing belt, water pump and tensioner in 2013 at 490,000 km
- New clutch and clutch cable in 2016
The car has its 4 original rims in good condition with new tires. The seller indicates that the rims need to be repainted. The car brakes normally. All the following parts have been changed:

- Rear axle with bronze bushings and grease fittings

The seller is a private individual located in France in Bohars (29) and accepts visits during the sale. The car is sold with a blank Technical Control dated 09/10/2019, its French registration, numerous maintenance invoices and its original documentation.
The seller specifies that the jack and the spare wheel basket will be provided for the sale.
The seller wished to define a reserve price.

How the auctions work
A credit card is required to bid, although nothing is charged at the time. Bids are immediately raised to the amount entered.
The highest bid is automatically selected. However, all offers made remain valid for 10 days and can be accepted at any time during this period.
Bidding is binding. We do not accept any withdrawal of bidding. Any withdrawal is sanctioned by a fee of 6% of the amount bid with a minimum of 300€ TTC.

Payment
At the end of the auction: The winner is automatically charged a service fee of 3% of the final price (minimum €179 incl. VAT) by credit card.
Within 10 days: The winner must pay the sales price by bank transfer. The payment is secured by our partner Paycar.
Delivery
Unless otherwise specified, the buyer is responsible for picking up the vehicle from the seller. Benzin is able to offer an optional delivery service, nous contacter (specify the vehicle you are interested in and your location).
