This 1973 Volvo 144 S Deluxe finish from Belgium is a 2nd hand car with 141.000 km. It is the 3rd series of the 144 and is equipped with the B20 engine coupled to an automatic gearbox. The seller indicates that the car is in good condition, has a valid Technical Inspection and has recently been serviced.
On the outside the car is in good condition. The paint in its royal blue color has only a few visible defects in the gallery and a deep scratch on the front left door. The exterior plastics and seals are in very good condition, as are the front and rear lights. The original chromes are also perfectly preserved. The seller indicates that this Volvo is rust free. He specifies that the car is entirely original on the outside.
The interior is in excellent condition and entirely original. The blue velvet upholstery has no tears or holes. The steering wheel and the dashboard are very well preserved and show no visible patina. The door panels and the roof liner are also in perfect condition. The on-board instrumentation as well as the electrical equipment work normally, only the lap counter needle is sometimes capricious (see video).
The 4 cylinder type B20 with 2 liter carburetor developed 101 hp when it left the factory. The seller indicates that the mechanics work perfectly as well as the 3-speed automatic transmission. The engine is completely original. He also says that an engine overhaul has recently been done and that the whole braking system has been revised. The original hoses have been replaced by new ones.
The car has its 4 original rims in excellent condition with new tires.
