This 1968 Volvo 144 from Belgium is a 2nd hand car with 148.000 km. It is the 1st series of 144 and is equipped with the B20 engine. The seller indicates that the car needs to be restored but that the chassis is free of rust.
On the outside the car is in bad condition. The original white paint shows some rust in places. However, the seller indicates that the car is complete and the chassis is rust free.
The interior is in good condition and rather well preserved. The black leather upholstery is in good condition with no tears or holes but shows some wear. The steering wheel and the dashboard are well preserved and show only rare defects visible in the gallery. The on-board instrumentation could not be tested, as well as the electronic equipment.
The 4-cylinder type B20 with 2-liter carburetor developed 101 hp when it left the factory. The seller says that the engine is not blocked and that he can start it again. The manual transmission could not be tested but seems to work normally. He also states, for an additional fee from the buyer, that the braking system can be overhauled and new tires can be installed.
The car has its 4 original rims. The tires are out of order.
The seller is located in France at La Chapelle en-Serval (60) and accepts visits during the sale. He provides the necessary documents for the constitution of a FFVE file.
The vehicle is sold without reserve price.

How the auctions work
A credit card is required to bid, although nothing is charged at the time. Bids are immediately raised to the amount entered.
Bidding is binding. We do not accept any withdrawal of bidding. Any withdrawal is sanctioned by a fee of 6% of the amount bid with a minimum of 300€ TTC.

Payment
At the end of the auction: The winner is automatically charged a service fee of 3% of the final price (minimum 150€ VAT included).
Within 15 days: The winner must pay the sales price to the seller. The secure payment by Paycar is free for Benzin buyers. Seller and buyer may agree to use another payment method.
Delivery
Unless otherwise specified, the buyer is responsible for picking up the vehicle from the seller. Benzin is able to offer an optional delivery service, nous contacter.
