This 1978 Peugeot 104 ZS is a first hand "out of garage", immobilized since 1984. It is now for sale following the death of the owner. The car registration and documents are currently being searched. The deceased owner was a former Peugeot engineer who owned several vehicles of the brand. The car has 91.000 km, a mileage that seems right considering the condition of the vehicle but that cannot be verified.
Externally, this 104 ZS is in average condition. The original Primrose Yellow paint (code 1471) shows correctly but the bodywork has several dents and dings, especially on the sides. The body shows no rust except for the very corroded rear trunk (see photo) and a spot at the end of the left front rocker panel. All exterior accessories are present, and the car is sold with its period roof bars.
Inside, this 104 is in very good condition. The fabric and imitation upholstery shows no snags or pronounced wear. The door panels are in very good condition, as well as the interior plastics and trim. The roof liner is also in excellent condition.
On the mechanical side, the seller declares that the engine is blocked. This 1.124cc 4-cylinder engine developed 66hp when it left the factory. The manual gearbox is supposed to work normally, but this can't be verified.
The car is equipped with its vintage rims in average condition, as well as its vintage tires. The seller indicates that the rear brakes are locked.
The seller is a professional located in France at La Chapelle-en-Serval (60520) and accepts visits during the sale.

How the auctions work
A credit card is required to bid, although nothing is charged at the time. Bids are immediately raised to the amount entered.
Bidding is binding. We do not accept any withdrawal of bidding. Any withdrawal is sanctioned by a fee of 6% of the amount bid with a minimum of 300€ TTC.
Visits of the vehicle

Payment
At the end of the auction: The winner is automatically charged a service fee of 3% of the final price (minimum 150€ VAT included).
Within 15 days: The winner must pay the sales price to the seller. The secure payment by Paycar is free for Benzin buyers. Seller and buyer may agree to use another payment method.
Delivery
