Simca 1200 Special - 1974

Presentation

This 1974 Simca 1200 Special of Spanish origin has 7500 km, although this figure cannot be certified (it has a 5-digit odometer). The seller states that the vehicle is in good general condition and has benefited from recent expenses. The Simca 1200 S or Special is similar to the French 1100 Special of 1970. Its 1,294 cm3 engine has a larger cylinder diameter, but the same stroke, slightly more compression and a Weber twin-barrel carburettor.

On the outside, the seller says that the vehicle is in good condition. The white bodywork shows only a few defects, which can be seen in the gallery. Photos of the underpinnings are available in the gallery.

Inside, the seller states that the vehicle is in good condition. The leather and camel fabric upholstery has no tears or holes, but shows slight signs of wear. The steering wheel and dashboard are in good condition. The on-board instrumentation and electrical equipment are in normal working order. This Simca 1200 has a vinyl roof.

The 1.3-litre 4-cylinder developed 75 bhp when it left the factory. The seller says that the mechanicals are working normally, as is the manual gearbox.
Recently, it has benefited from the following expenses:
- Suspension adjustment
- Carburettor and ignition adjustment
- Transmission
- Engine mount
- Gear lever linkage

The car has its 4 Rostyle rims in good condition. The car brakes normally.

The seller is a professional located in Ourense, Spain, and accepts visits during the sale. The car will be sold with its Spanish registration document, a favourable technical inspection less than 6 months old and its documentation.

The seller wished to set a reserve price.
