
This 1997 Porsche Boxster 986 is of German origin and was imported by a previous owner in 2009. The seller acquired it in September 2017 and has performed extensive maintenance. The car has 141,550 km, mileage that seems consistent with the condition and documentation of the car. Externally, the original paint is in excellent condition, although a few scratches and chips are normal for this mileage. The front and rear bumpers have a new paint job and are free of defects. The canvas top is also very well preserved and shows no tears. The soft plastic rear window, characteristic of the first models, is in good condition and shows only a tiny crack that does not compromise the waterproofing. No air intake noise is present while driving. Finally, there is no sign that this car has been crashed, the panel alignment is excellent.

The interior is in perfect condition. The plastics show no scratches, and the optional charcoal gray leather heated seats are weathered but not torn. The steering wheel also shows a patina consistent with the mileage. The car is equipped with the optional Porsche 6-CD changer and disc tray. Also optional is the windshield with storage bin behind the seats. All the electrical equipment as well as the air conditioning are described as working perfectly. The 2.5l flat-6 developed 204hp when it left the factory. A very recent invoice shows a change of the intake manifold, various pipes, gaskets and hoses as well as an oil change. Various invoices show regular maintenance. The seller states that the engine runs very well, starts well and makes no abnormal noise. It revs up very well and seems to have full power. The sound is described as typical of the flat-6 and very present when uncapped. The gears shift and lock perfectly. There is no noise or hiss from the transmission or the axle.

The ground linkage has been the object of recent expenses, with notably the change of the 4 tires in Toyo T1S and the front pads. The rims are in perfect condition, with no dents, scratches or warping. The car is equipped with the optional 17mm track wideners.
