Presentation

This 1973 Opel Ascona A 1904 SR of Portuguese origin has 90,800 km. The seller states that the vehicle is in good general condition and has benefited from recent expenses. This SR (Sport Rallye) version is a limited series, notably equipped with a limited slip differential from the factory, a lap counter and additional instrument gauges. Walter Rohrl was European champion in 1974 at the wheel of an Ascona A. The seller states that the car has been homologated in Portugal by the CPAA (FIVA equivalent).

On the outside, the seller says that the vehicle is in good condition. The bodywork, in its red colour, has only a few defects that can be seen in the gallery. The seller notes that the plastics and chromes have a patina, and there are various signs of wear and tear. Photos of the underpinnings are available in the gallery.

Inside, the seller states that the black skai upholstery has no tears or holes but shows slight signs of wear. The steering wheel shows signs of wear, and the dashboard has a crack at the top. The seller states that the electrical equipment works normally, with the exception of the defogger, which works randomly.

The 1.9-litre 4-cylinder (type 19S CIH) developed 90 bhp when it left the factory. The seller states that the engine is working normally, as is the 4-speed manual gearbox.
Recently, it has benefited from the following expenses:
- Vidange huiles
- Filter replacement
- Replacement of various seals, hoses and gaskets
- Brake system overhaul
- Batterie
- Carburettor adjustment

The car is fitted with its 4 original wheels and hubcaps in good condition, shod with Firestone tyres. The car brakes normally.

The seller is a private individual located in Portugal in Oliveira de Azeméis and accepts visits during the sale. The car will be sold with its Portuguese registration, a favourable roadworthiness test until August 2025 and its original documentation.
